My Grandma..

I just can't believe it has been 2 years plus now since she left us.. " My grandma" was always dear to my heart.. she looked after me the day i was born., she witness my first step,my first tooth, weaned me, fed me, loved me, cuddled me.... the list is just endless...

My grandma was a dear and a loving person. Anyone who met her would just love her to bits and would only have fond memories of her!.I really miss her sugee cake (she knows how much i love her sugee cake, that for my birthday she came all the way to kl and baked me a whole sugee cake!!.. , her yummy cream puffs and definitely her salt fish pickle and not forgetting my all time favourite her coco JELLY!!..

Her grandchildren - every single one was so dear to her... her grandchildren even came 1st before her own children (until kyle and kaelyn were born lah).. then they came 1st :).. above all!!. She would go all out and do whatever it takes to ensure that her grandchildren are taken care of. My grandma was an amazing women. even at the age of 70 plus, she was still on the school board (convent pulau tikus) - that's my mums school. She could still dance and she has more energy then Me and my mum put together!!.. really. She could walk... and walk and walk, she walked to Market , she walked up and down the tanjung bungah hill. really!.. sometimes i wonder where did my grandma.. get all the energy from!!. and everyone in penang - knows her!. (well especially the cab drivers..)

When you're in penang, you would never have to bother about knowing her house address.. If you are taking a cab all you have to say is " A. dot's house" and many a times u would just be amazed by the response " OHHH. Chee Seng.. Ya ya. A. Dot" . Grandma was a very kind hearted woman. You can never go hungry when you're at gma's house.. and she would feed the entire neighbourhood if she had to!.. Everyone from all walks of live is always welcome at her house..

Kyle and Kaelyn were very fortunate to experience her love as well. The first time they met her they were only.. 2 1/2 months old. She sang to them and played with them all day..grandma to stayed with us.. for 2 whole months. She sang to them and taught them the word "Up" Up" Up" and 123....

You would be amazed that during her funeral, the whole church was packed -like as if it was a sunday mass.. and at her house ( the wake session) it was packed people whom i never knew existed they seem to know me, my life and my kids (they knew i had twins.. and i studied in NZ).... even the Char keoy teow man , the mamak mee goreng man, her Number man was there.. It is soo amazing on how many lives my grandma has touched..

she has now gone "home" in peace to the lord... We will miss her and we love her.. soo dearly.. She will always be with us in our hearts...till we meet again..Grandma... we love you always.
