Breaking up

So.. if you are in your teen's puppy love, yes breaking is a norm .. if you're in your 20's and in University yeah you've been through it already..and yes it can be pretty bad but you will eventually get over it ( i did!) . YES! this is the cycle of life.. but when you are 7!! yes SEVEN!!!??? how do you mend a 7 year old's broken heart!!..

once again.. my daughter rocked my world and my principles...she said Mommy i just broke up with my boyfriend and it hurts!.. do you like LAUGH or CRY!!!!.. My jaw dropped in SHOCKED!. i was.. err but when.. errr!!.. YAH when did you have a BOY FRIEND?? a million and one thoughts just rushed through my mind.. what? did i hear it correctly okie.. get a grip and lets do this right??! probably a decade ago parents would have flipped and locked their daughters in a ROOM - stay there and never come out.. dad would have gotten a SHOT gun and SHOT that BOY!!...(yes i contemplated on doing that!! it felt good)!!!

But today in this 21st century.. it seems that anything and everything is just POSSIBLE! Back to kaelyn.. this girl!! sighz!!!.. finally after like 15 seconds or more.. i actually spoke. So Ok, you've broken up with your boyfriend, Ok!! firstly, you're supposed to be studying in SCHOOL and yes there are boys there but i do not want you to be going out with BOYS anymore ok.. was my first response.. and said, forget it kaelyn, no more boyfriends from now on!.. the next thought was - " GOOD GOD DiD you kiss him?? lucky the answer was NOOOOOO mommy NOO. we only held hands!! that even threw me off ! itold her KAELYN!!! no more ok..held hands!!! but when/ where are the teachers?? how is this possible??

so i told her. please my dear girl no more boy friends and you have to promise mommy!!! just study and have lotsss of girl friends.. so for now.. we have dropped the Boyfriend topic!.. i just hope that i dont hear this until maybe secondary.. as then i would know how to handle the situation better!!!..
