I met baby khairul when kaelyn was in IJN. I guess we were fated to meet as he was also undergoing "open heart" surgery.. same time as Kaelyn.. and both the mother "Zana" and I connected as our kids were about the same age and were going through the operation. I still remember soo clearly (we had to take them to the operation theatre at 6.00am Sharp) then wait for 4 1/2 hours..and we were so relieved that both of them had a successful operation.
Khairul is about only4 months older than Kaelyn.. We were in the Emergency ward waiting for time to pass. for our kids to get a hospital bed.. (the frustration.. of waiting.. u just cant imagine).. We were together before during and as well after the operation. She would help take care of kaelyn when i went to toilet (to bath) etc.. during the 5 days.. and i would do the same for her..
Since then, we have always kept intouch..asking how each baby was doing.. etc. I smsed her last thursday.. only to find out that khairul was in ICU - he had high fever... then.. so i smsed her again the next day. only to find he was still in a coma.. i was worried.. but waited a while. just to see how he was doing.. Zana smsed me " to tell me that poor baby Khairul" had passed away.... I called her as i know she must have been going through. soo much pain.. pls pray for this little baby that he may rest in peace. and pray for his family...
